Duffy assembly!

  Kia Ora bloggers! Niamh back again! today I went to the Duffy assembly! it was super cool! it was called: "Duffy meets the Coggen."  it was one of the best plays they have ever done! it was about a girl called Bex and her best friend Duffy and how they went through a lot of trouble to find Milly, the Coggen.  Hello again guys!! Niamh again!!! What have you been up to the past couple of weeks? Because I have been doing some Hundertwasser art! this is what it looks like:

Me and my class first had to make a sketch and design what it would look like. Then we drew your designs and coloured them in. Then all you have to do the dye in the background. Then finally you need to outline your art with vivid!

Hi guys! It's Niamh here! Today I am going to show you my favourite sentence from my writing "The Escalator". It is a story about a girl named Stacey who will get lost in a forest, and the rest is a secret. Hope you like it! 

This is my favourite sentence: It was late, so late in fact that the owls were bored of hooting, the moon was tired of shining, even the nightly wind had stopped blowing.

Just saying, the genre is romance.

The doc I am doing it on is not finished, but when it is, I will post it on my blog.

Abstract art

Hello! this is my abstract art. this is how I made it:

1. (head) draw a big semi circle thing at the bottom of your paper.

2.  (nose) draw a block letter capital L from the top to the middle of your paper .

3. (eyes) draw a semi circle at the top of your paper, then draw an upside down one under that, then draw a line in between them they can be uneven if you want.

4. (eye brows) draw some sort of eyebrow over the top of your eyes.

5. (lips) draw a stretched m then draw a semi circle under the m and like the eyes, draw a line through them. Colour it in, then you're done!

Hello! Niamh again, I have been working on a character web about Bradly Chalkers from the book there's a boy in the girl's bathroom. Room 7 have been reading this book and have got up to chapter 8. This book is by Louis Sachar and is a great book to read. I recommend this book for all parents to read.

do you like it? I chose this particular type of dog because I have one the exact same breed (unfortunately, this is not her) a fact about this breed of dog is that they are the shape of a whippet but the color of a common staffy!

Ashleys diary

chapter 2

I was soooooo scared! My dad was trying to get me back, but I was too scared to move! Then, the ice caved in and I fell. The water was freezing! I hated it!All I remember from then was my dad yelling, my out stretched hand that no one could reach and my whole body going numb, then nothing.

Next thing I knew, I had woken up in the hospital, a nurse standing by my bed talking with my dad and my best friend Amethyst with her parents. Then I saw someone walking up to my room from out the window, it was my mum! I thought she had died, but when she came in she told me every thing! Turns out she had just fainted, then got amnesia, then we moved and she had been looking for me and dad for 14 years (i'm 15). So when she heard that I had fell into a frozen pond (or was frozen) she came right here to see me. I was sooooooooooooo happy, but she still has a lot of explaining to do!

Then she said,"me and Dan (my dad) are still legally married, so, what do you say I come and be your mother, like, your looking after you again mother, yes?" OF COURSE! I said! I would love that!

Hello, last week, I started to wright a story, I have written chapter 1 and 2, but today I am going to wright the first chapter onto this blog. hope you like it!

Ashleys diary, chapter 1

Hi, my name is Ashley and right now, I am sitting in the middle of my two annoying little brothers, my dad driving us to a surprise place. I don't like the way we are going though, cause it looks like we are  heading straight for ice rink mountain!

It is called that cause the mountain has lots of ice capped ponds that you can skate on. I have never ice skated before so I am super worried when we get there. I guessed right! 

We park up in the first row since no one else had, and I think I know why (avalanches and stuff) we get our skates and start going up the mountain. We eventually come upon 4 frozen ponds, all in a line. Since there where 4 of us and 4 of the ponds, there was one each. I chose the one at the end. I do not know why, but I started to get suuuuuuuuper scared, my mum died*

when I was a kid and after she died my dad re-named me after her. She had a lot of tragedies when she was a kid, so I wonder if that got passed down to me? We will find out soon I guess!

So, I was skating and it was pretty hard and I kept falling over. My brothers go to ice skating lessons, so they knew what to do. At first for me though, dad had to help me, but after a while I started getting the hang of it. Then, we all started competing against each other, seeing who could do the best twirls and flips and so much more! We even got off the rink once to see who could do the best snow sculptur! I won that one! It was soooooooooooo fun!

Then we realized it was getting late, the ponds where quite big so it took a while to get to where we left our stuff, I was super happy!!!!!!! I was nearly at the end, when the ice started to crack....

my dad re-married and my step mum had two boys than she died too

Hi guys! my name is Niamh, this is my first post of the year, so I am going to tell you about one of the things I did in my holiday. Hope you like it!

✌So, a couple of weeks ago(in 2020),I went to Kawau Island with my mum, dad and sister. My Granny lives there so she waited at the wharf(like she always does) so she could see us when we got there on the ferry. When we got there, we went straight to Weka-Weka which is my Granny's house and when I saw her buntings, I new I wanted one too! So, I told my granny I wanted one, and guess what, she said I could make one, so I did! I also made one for Franny(my friend) my sister and my friend Emily!

Hi! its Niamh, and today I am going to tell you about my family, so, lets get started!

In my family, I have a Mummy named Jody, a Daddy named Dermott and a sister named Ida, we have a dog named Belle and Ida has a fish named Cream. Last year, we looked after 6 kittens and the mum, who we think was a teen at the time. When we found them it was close to my friend Salamasina's birthday and her mum bought 2 for her. (they where 8 weeks old at the time) Then the rest where adopted by people who where not my friends.
